Isla Chira, located in Golfo de Nicoya, hosted the first world Meeting of Women of the Seas. 

Diwö is a partner organization for Women of the Seas Meeting, supported by the Government and the Embassy of France in Costa Rica.

For years, the residents of Crün Shürin and surrounding areas have been facing situations that jeopardize their lives and the means to sustain them.

We are a non-profit, non-governmental organization, made up of Costa Rican professionals, focused on promoting sustainable development in vulnerable communities and companies in Latin America.


Our main objective is to improve the quality of life of people and the well-being of the region's ecosystems, through adaptation and mitigation to climate change.
