VOLUNTEERING
BOSQUE PARA NACER AGUA VOLUNTEERING
Our Bosque para Nacer Agua project is located in the indigenous territory of Boruca, Puntarenas. Through this voluenteer, you will be able to know the cultural and natural wealth of indigenous and rural communities. In addition, volunteers will learn from the environmental conservation work carried out by the communities with the support of Diwö Ambiental while been part of these processes.
Our community allies, the Association of Indigenous Women Artisans of Boruca-So Cagrú develop cultural tourism and handicrafts for the preservation of their culture and their economic livelihood.
INTERNATIONAL VOLUNTEERING
People from all over the world are welcomed to colaborate in our projects, at the same time that they get an unique experience.
ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEERING DETAILS
Work Schedule: Volunteers work 6 to 8 hours a day, with time off to suit their stay, usually two days a week or more.
Commitment: We ask to commit to a 4 week minimum stay.
Travel: Volunteers will be responsible for their own travel arrangements. This envolves getting to and leaving Boruca, Puntarenas. However, we provide help booking a taxi from the airport to our station.
Age requirements: You must be 18 years or older to become a Diwö volunteer. Volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or companion over the age of 21.
NATIONAL VOLUNTEERING
You can live the volunteer experience for a weekend or more if you wish.

Travel: Transportation from San José to Boruca, Puntarenas, round trip is included in the price provided by the organization.

Corporate Volunteering
Beyond volunteering with your company collaborators, you will have the opportunity to finance a corporate social responsibility project with triple impact: social, environmental and economic.
